How long have you been in business?
Valhalla Resort has been in business since 1950's. We have added 3 cabins and upgraded most since purchasing in 1995.
What is your primary product or service?
Fully equipped individual cabins rented by the visitors to Estes Park.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We used to stay at Valhalla as guests and loved the property as well as the Estes Valley. We have a variety of backgrounds, none in the tourist industry.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are one of only 2 resorts that are secluded away from the main roads. We are next to the National Park property.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Just this location. No plans on expanding.
Provide detailed directions to your location
From the main street in Estes Park (Elkhorn Ave.) you turn left onto Moraine ave. Staying in the R hand lane follow around hill. Continue for 2 miles through the light at Mary's Lake Rd. Get in L lane, go to stop sign. From stop sign go forward onto 66 for 6/10th of mile until you see Valhalla sign. Turn right onto Eagle Cliff Rd. follow 1/3 mile to Valhalla office on the right.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, money orders and checks. Checks are excepted for deposit only when time allows to clear.
